Langley’s Harry Potter-Themed Halloween House is a Magical Adventure

by Amy Huang |

Among the coolest is a Harry Potter-themed Halloween house in Langley, which has become a community favorite.

For the past 8 years, this family has transformed their home into a magical Harry Potter-themed adventure. This year, they’re going all out with a theme based on the final book, The Deathly Hallows.

Visitors are invited to experience the magic and danger of the wizarding world as they embark on an epic journey through key moments from the story.

Located at 7166 198 St in Langley, the house will be open to the public on October 25, 26, 31, and November 1, from 5-10 pm.

You’ll start by attending Bill and Fleur’s wedding. When disaster strikes, the adventure begins!

Then proceed to find and destroy the seven Horcruxes of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Along the way, you’ll explore famous locations like the caverns beneath Gringott’s Bank, the Floo Network, the Ministry of Magic, and Hogwarts itself, where the final battle awaits.

The family handcrafted, thrifted, or purchased all the decor, crediting any original artwork they found online.

Angie, one of the homeowners and a proud Hufflepuff, even painted some original pieces herself!

In the spirit of Hogwarts, visitors are encouraged to bring food bank donations. The Hogwarts house with the most donations wins the House Cup, though donations are not required for entry.

This family-friendly event is a must-see for Harry Potter fans and Halloween enthusiasts alike! For more information, you can check out their Instagram page.
