Squamish is getting a new music festival this July

by Blog Updates |

Featuring three days of bands, entertainers, and visual artists, the Squamish Constellation Festival said its mandate is to “shine the light on excellent music from British Columbia, Canada, and beyond.”

The three-day festival will take place from July 26 to July 28, in Hendrickson Field, “amidst the stunning backdrop of the Squamish Chief.”

According to its website, the festival will also include:

  • VIP area and packages
  • Genres include alt-pop, folk, indie, alt-rock, singer-songwriter, funk/soul, brass/big bands and family acts
  • Free entry to children 12 and under
  • Strong representation of female, indigenous, and LGBTQ+ artists
  • Blanket-style seating with separate dancing areas
  • Interactive community legacy art creation
  • Marketplace
  • Site-wide liquor license, craft beer, cocktail and wine lounges
  • Exquisite culinary delights

And while we may be in the beginning of February,  it’s never to early to start thinking about that summer music scene.
