That’s right, you can dine under a dome come this fall, just in case that’s something you’re into.
If you’ve not heard of Dinner With a View, let us give you a quick rundown. Basically, you’re put inside a transparent dome filled with plants. Then, you’re treated to a blind, 3-course dinner tailored to the local cuisine. Are you vegan or pescatarian? Don’t worry, they can accommodate.
Of course, the most fun part of all of this is speculating where they will set up shop. We’ve got three ideas. Spanish Banks would be chill and would provide a great view of the city’s skyline. In the same vein, English Bay or Third Beach would be crazy for views of the Burrard Inlet.
Personally, we hope that Dinner with a View Vancouver chooses a location that’s way out there, like Van Dusen Botanical Gardens or the Cambie bridge underpass.
