Dundarave Festival Of Lights West Vancouver 2017

by Blog Updates |

The Dundarave Festival of Lights is back for another holiday season, offering four days of nonstop activities.

Beginning Saturday, December 2nd, 2017, visitors can enjoy free concerts, a Christmas fair, and the Forest of Miracles.

December 2nd will see the official lighting of the Festival’s Forest of Miracles take place. Not to mention, it’ll be the largest outdoor display of Christmas trees in coastal British Columbia.

Over 100 Christmas trees are decorated, lit, and sponsored by community groups, businesses, schools, churches, and families.

On December 9th, take in the Dundarave Nativity and Paddle Songs that are performed by local Squamish elders. Moreover, join master storyteller Wendy Charbonneau to experience firsthand the power of a deep spiritual connection to this beach and this season.

Saturday, December 16th marks World Christmas Day at the festival. See free concerts that showcase the Francophone roots of our country, to the heat of Mariachi and foot stomping Celtic chords.
