The Vancouver Mural Festival Winter Arts will return and transform downtown Vancouver into a free open-air gallery to celebrate art and connect communities.

For the second year in a row, due to the pandemic, this outdoor experience will be an augmented art experience. It will run from February 11 to 17, 2022.

VMF Winter Arts was designed to inspire joy and creativity outdoors, while also supporting local businesses and artists.

There will be free public art and entertainment from Canada Place, along Burrard to Bentall Centre and Park Place, to the Vancouver Art Gallery, Vancouver Public Library Square, and Yaletown, as well as BC Place and Science World.

At the centre of the Winter Arts, the heart, will be at šxwƛ̓ ənəq Xwtl’e7énḵ Square on the north side of the Vancouver Art Gallery.

This space will be open, not covered, but heated and will allow people to gather and food, drinks, art, and free live performances.

VMF winter arts will be adding some more locations as well.
