Stepping out of the Aguille du Midi at 3,840m you would have been hard pressed to convince yourself it's mid-June here in Chamonix. The precipation that drenched the valley over the previous two days provided a massive blanket of fresh snow in the alpine. Perfect timing for Saturday's Ski Alpinism & Splitboarding clinic as participants were treated to full on mid-winter conditions - face shots included.
For those spending their time behind the lens, the overnight Outdoor Photography clinic provided conditions that ran the weather gammut, including a break in the weather as the sun rose out of the valley.
With countless calories burned after a full schedule of clinics, the Academy dinner recharged the crew before settling in for Movie Night which included presentations from Nina Caprez, Ines Papert, and Will Gadd in front of a full village square.
